Penny Higgs, Executive Director

American Football is a costly sport to run. However, as a club we do everything we can to remove barriers to entry for our Under 17 programme. This includes providing all players with free equipment that they can borrow for the season.

I’m delighted that BNI® have shown a desire to become one of our Under 17 Programme Patrons and invest in grassroots sport in the Midlands. Their commitment to supporting the programme has secured vital funds for the operational viability and success of the next generation of American Football players in the Black Country.

Rob Amor, Chairman

The Programme Patrons model is designed to offer affordable sponsor opportunities to local, regional and national businesses looking to give back to the local community, while assisting the Steelers in providing low-cost opportunities to play American Football to 13-16 year olds, we’re looking to secure 10 Programme Patrons for the Under 17 programme at just £100 each, thus securing a further £1000 in vital funds for the 2019 season.
