Why Football?
I don’t know why, because when I first watched it it’s scared the living daylights out of me! I’ve played team sports my whole life, but I truly started to understand the meaning of team when I started playing football. The people I have met and played along side over the years all share a great sense of community and togetherness. Football is such a challenging and tactical sport that it demands a lot physically and mentally and I love the challenge!
Hopes for the season?
After not competing in the sapphire series for almost three years, it was time for me to spread my wings and compete with a team because that’s what I wanted to do; play football. I needed more game time experience, and throughout the season playing my first round of 7’s in Division 1, I will get that. I just want to get better, because you can always improve, play with intelligence and a few sacks would be the cherry on top of an exciting season ahead!
