Why football?
My brother played American football for the Steelers and me and my family would watch his games. I found it so intriguing as a sport as it’s not just about fitness and I’ve never played a contact sport before but I’ve discovered a love for the contact!
The Steelers’ ladies and coaches are so very supportive and welcoming. I felt like part of the team since the very first day.
Hopes for the year?
As this is my first season playing, everything is new to me. Therefore, I want to be able to know the playbook inside out, to improve on my fitness and strength levels and to be able to maintain the standard the team have set moving into Division One and grow as part of the team.
